Fairmount Campus provides comprehensive educational services to kindergarten through eighth-grade students with developmental disabilities. We prepare our students to pursue a diploma or a certificate at the high school level. Fairmount Campus also addresses each child's unique educational and therapeutic needs through evidence-based instructional practices.

Our Team

Our instructional program focuses on essential foundational skills. Students have access to reading/language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, fine art, health, physical education, and technology education. These curriculums align with Common Core Standards.

All classrooms are staffed by a fully certified teacher and a highly trained assistant teacher, or in some instances, are co-taught by two teachers. Classroom staff collaborates closely with other related service disciplines to meet the needs of each student. These disciplines include:

  • Speech and language pathologists
  • Occupational therapists
  • Physical therapists
  • Mental Health therapists,
  • Art and music therapists
  • Behavioral support,
  • Physical education staff,
  • Technology staff

Teams meet regularly to update each other and address any concerns. The team makes program modifications for each student, as needed, to help students reach their potential.
